Among all static, asymptotically flat electrovac fields with closed, simply-connected equipotential surfaces $g_ {0 0}=$ const.. the only ones which have regular event horizons $g_ {0 0}=0$ are the Reissner-Nordström family of spherisymmetric solutions with $m \ge G^{1/2}|e|/c$. In the special case where the gravitational coupling of the electromagnetic energy density is neglected ($G=0$) all solutions are computed explicitly, thus extending an earlier result of GINZBURG for a magnetic dipole in SCHWARZSCHILD'S space-time. Possible implications for gravitational collapse are briefly discussed.\] ## Summary - [[0455 Black hole uniqueness theorems|uniqueness theorem]] in the charged case # Sugawara ## A Field theory of currents \[Links: [Inspire](https://inspirehep.net/literature/51305)\] \[Abstract: A new type of model field theory is constructed. Only currents appear as the coordinates. The canonical formalism is abandoned. The self-consistency, Lorentz covariance, energy-momentum conservation, etc., are checked.\] ## Summary - original work of [[0095 Sugawara construction|Sugawara construction]]
