# Bulk reconstruction
**Bulk reconstruction** is the idea of obtaining bulk quantities (including the metric) using data on the boundary. The data could be e.g. entanglement entropy, $n$-point functions, and etc.

- hard problem in practice and sometimes not well-defined
- using entanglement
