# AdS/CMT This is a catalogue page for the correspondence between AdS and Condense Matter Physics, i.e., **AdS/CMT**. This is the broad field of using [[0001 AdS-CFT|holography]] to study condensed matter. One main feature of this connection is that the boundary system at finite temperature is related to bulk quantities on a black hole background. As opposed to the pure AdS background, black hole metrics have much richer structures.
