# Lorentzian factorisation problem
The so-called Lorentzian factorisation problem is the apparent puzzle that arises from the existence of Lorentzian wormholes that connect more than one asymptotic boundary, e.g., a two-sided black hole. Moreover, there exist states such as a Wilson line that goes through the wormhole. Such a state does not factorise, hence the name of the puzzle.
Note that this is different from the Euclidean factorisation problem, which is often just called the [[0249 Factorisation problem|factorisation problem]].
