# Wilson spool
The Wilson spool is a proposal to incorporate matter into the gravitational path integral in AdS$_3$ or dS$_3$. In the $G_N\to0$ limit, it reproduces the one-loop exact matter field partition function on fixed backgrounds. This works for any minimally coupled spinning field.
